Equi-CaRe – Dr. med. vet. Nathalie Reisbig & Dr. James Carmalt
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all veterinary services provided by Equi-CaRe (Dr. med. vet. Nathalie Reisbig and Dr. James Carmalt) to the client. Any deviations from these terms require written agreement.
Equi-CaRe provides veterinary services in accordance with current standards of veterinary medicine within the framework of a mobile practice. Emergency cases may be referred to specialised third parties.
Fees are charged in accordance with the German Scale of Veterinary Fees (Gebührenordnung für Tierärzte, GOT) as applicable at the time of service. Invoices are payable in full upon receipt, without deduction.
In the event of late payment, statutory default interest will be charged. Equi-CaRe reserves the right to decline further treatment until all outstanding amounts have been settled in full.
The liability of Equi-CaRe is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence. No liability is assumed for treatment outcomes, as veterinary medicine does not recognise a guarantee of success.
The client agrees to the carrying out of all necessary diagnostic and therapeutic measures. Should the client be unreachable in an emergency, Equi-CaRe will act in the best interests of the animal’s welfare.
In addition to general equine medicine, Equi-CaRe offers specialised services in the fields of lameness diagnostics and dentistry. These services are billed in accordance with the GOT.
Prescribed medications must be used as directed. Administration by the owner is carried out at the owner’s own responsibility. The return of opened or partially used medications is not accepted.
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is the registered location of Equi-CaRe. Should any individual provision of these GTC be found invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
